Cool, Quiet, and Unexpectedly Chic

Greyish blue arrived on the trend list this spring and nobody seems quite sure how. The tone is part storm cloud, part slate, part ocean at dusk. Muted enough to feel minimal, distinctive enough to earn a second look. It’s the color for people who find bright pedicures exhausting but still want their feet to look like a decision was made.

Earthy green is the other cool-toned surprise. Think sage, or moss, or the underside of a fig leaf. Natural without being crunchy, modern without being cold. It pairs with linen neutrals and jewel-tone sundresses with equal ease, which is genuinely rarer than it sounds for a single polish shade.

Barely There, Completely Beautiful

The French tip is back, and this time it’s quieter. Thinner white edge, softer base, an almost-sheer finish that makes toes look like they grew that way. The early-2000s version was graphic and squared-off; the 2026 take is closer to no-makeup makeup — you know something’s there, but you can’t quite say what.

Sheer and shimmery finishes work similarly. The shimmer here isn’t glitter or foil. It’s closer to the inside of an abalone shell — fine iridescent particles that create depth without drama. At the beach, in natural light, it catches the eye in a way that feels almost accidental.
